Transforming the Fabric

So how do you get this
From this?
The piles of fleece turn into piles of diaper shaped cut-outs (this is only a pile of one layer of each of the 24 I made). I cut out 2 large and 2 small in each print, then sewed on my tags, cut out 2 large and 2 small of each print again, pinned 2 layers together, sewed right sides together, sewed elastic at the legs and back of the waist, turned right side out, topstitched, and added snaps (NOT an easy task when we're talking about using the snap press 20 times on each cover!).
But look how lovely they are!
They're selling pretty well at Moonsprout in Hilo, and not at all in my etsy shop. :-p Oh well.

Hey Heather! I decided to try the one size fits all pocket diapers. They seem the most economical and easy for Grant to handle. I've got two happy heiny's and two bumgenious. I'm going to wait to the baby gets here to figure out what brand I like better. What kind do you like best?

And glad to hear that you all went through the Bradley Method too- so far so good. I also read the book Birthing from Within and thought it had some excellant suggestions too.
